The Enhanced Maintenance of State Road IB-22, section Raška (Kosovska Mitrovica) – Novi Pazar (Banja) L=17.974km, is part of the Road Rehabilitation and Safety Project (RRSP). The project aims to increase utility value and durability of the road, to improve traffic safety, meet local community requirements, and comply with environmental protection requirements.

In addition to improving the pavement structure, the project includes construction of bus stops, pedestrian paths, pul-off areas, watercourse drainage and regulation systems.
