The Intermodal Terminal Batajnica is another project where SDC PROFESSIONAL proudly participates, providing expert geodetic supervision during construction. Located near the Batajnica railway station, the terminal is situated between the double-track electrified railway line No. 101 Belgrade Center – Stara Pazova – Šid – state border – (Tovarnik), single-track electrified railway line (station part of the railway track) No. 111 Beograd Ranžirna “A” – Ostružnica – Batajnica, and the Belgrade Ring Road. The terminal will facilitate intermodal transport, aiming to optimize the use of various modes of transport for all transportation processes in the supply chain from producers to consumers. The Intermodal Terminal in Batajnica is the first of its kind in the Republic of Serbia.

The terminal consists of several functional parts:

• Administrative and control section (two office buildings and parking)

• Access roads (access roads 1 and 2 and access railway tracks)

• Truck loading/unloading lanes and bypass lane

• Handling area consisting of three tracks, four truck traffic lanes, and expansions for customs scanner accommodation

• Platform for temporary storage of containers, refrigerated containers, and containers with hazardous goods

• Associated infrastructure (water supply, sewerage, electrical grid, public lighting).
