The tire testing track in Inđija is one of the highly demanding projects in construction of which the SDC Professional agency made its contribution.
The technical documentation for the track was prepared by the German company Tilke GmbH & Co KG, specialized in facilities of this type and renowned for its design and construction of Formula 1 tracks.
The track is 1690 meters long, with a planned test vehicle speed of 100 km/h.
What sets this project apart from others is the high precision required in all execution phases from the very beginning. The simple asphalt surface was executed with great precision, adhering to millimetre tolerances in terms of geometry. The works were constantly supervised by consultants from Tilke GmbH & Co KG, as well as asphalt specialists from the German Hart Consult International GmbH, with support from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade.
Within the complex, two modules were built in accordance with ISO standards for asphalt surfaces. These are the "Wet Grip" module, where tire behavior is tested on a wet surface during braking from 80 km/h to 0 km/h, and the "Pass-by Noise" module, for testing the level of noise produced by tires rolling at 80 km/h.
